Sub : Study Circle Meeting on 6th November, 2009

We are glad to inform that Mr. Anish Thacker from E & Y, will lead the discussion in the Next Study Circle Meeting on “Effects of withdrawal of circular 23 of 1969 and allied circulars".

The details of the programme are as follows:

The CBDT has recently withdrawn few very old circulars including circular 23 of 1969 which may have substantial effect on assessments of non residents in India. Mr Anish Thacker has agreed to analyse the effect of such withdrawals for the benefit of our members. We may add that Mr Anish Thacker is with M/s E & Y. and has extensive hands on exposure to international taxation. We are sure that members shall benefit from his sharing of experience.

Entry to this meeting will be restricted to 50 members of IFA – WRC only – on first come first serve basis.
