Notice of Next Study Circle Meeting

OECD released the proposed 2005 update of the OECD Model Convention on 15 March 2005. The update is to be finalized in the spring of 2005 and comments are invited by OECD before 27 April 2005.

The proposals are mainly based on previous OECD reports, such as the reports on (i) international traffic, (ii) stock options, (iii) definition of permanent establishment, (iv) cross-border pensions and (v) exchange of information.

The next Study Circle Meeting is fixed for 15th April 2005 to discuss the draft OECD amendments to the Model Convention.

Mr. Nilesh Kapadia , CA of M/s Nilesh M. Kapadia & Co. shall lead the meeting. Mr. Pranav Sayta, M/s Ernst & Young Pvt. Ltd. shall chair the session.

Entry to this meeting will be restricted to members of IFA - WRC only.
